Deseo a prueba

Maya Angelou Fabulosa!
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
just 'cause I walk as if I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like suns and like moons,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Don't take it so hard
just 'cause I laugh as if I have gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.
You can shoot me with your words,
You can cut me with your lies,
You can kill me with your hatefulness,
But just like life I'll rise.
Does my sexiness offend you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance as if I have diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past rooted in pain
I rise
a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
I rise
Into a daybreak miraculously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the hope and the dream of the slave.
and so naturally they are go raising.

Polvo
de minutos, de horas
que se entretejen en el infinito.
explotando en mi corazón la vida;
allá en la estrella más lejana
hice mi hogar
el polvo del universo moldeó mi cuerpo
que se completó con tu suspiro.
El suspiro llegó y se fue
ahora vuelvo a ser polvo
sin forma y sin aliento
buscando vanamente algo que me una
para poder existir.

En secreto
Mis paredes están vacías,
así mi alma y mi corazón;
mi pasado se desvanece,
desgarradoramente aún te amo.
En secreto te amé;

Así es mi amor
Quiero creer
Nada

Tu regalo
Qué me queda?

Love is
“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being “in love” which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.” ~From Captain Corelli’s Mandolin
